It took me nearly 3 hours to ride 32 miles today. I recently purchased a new camera, and I made frequent stops for photos. Stopping every few miles is actually harder than a continuous ride–I never really get warmed up.
The following photos have not been HDRed or really messed with much at all aside from bringing down the exposure. If you’re on a PC, you can right click to “view image” to see them full size. Not sure what you do on a Mac, but you can always see full-size photos (including many I do not post here) on my photostream.

Love that spot on the second picture. It’s one of the most picturesque in the Catskills. The combination of the fields, the curvy road, the charming farmhouse, the waterfall behind the house and Ashokan High Point all add up to one beautiful location. A great place to ride a bike!

I know just how you feel : )
What camera?
It’s a Sigma DP2. I’ll write more about it soon. In short, it’s a very odd beast, and good for only one thing: landscape photos in bright light. But the output is gorgeous, albeit a little surreal. But I don’t care, I like my clouds sharp and fluffy and my pictures a little oversaturated.
